Are dental implant expensive?

Implant treatment takes meticulous planning, certain skills and high grade materials. Therefore, it is how you view this investment as to whether they are expensive. We run a finance plan and this can be discussed if necessary.

Is dental implant surgery painful?

This is one of the most common questions we receive at Hello Dental. Most implant cases are straightforward and take less than half an hour to place, however more complex cases can take longer. Dental implants are usually placed under local anaesthetic, whilst this can sting a little bit, we at Hello Dental use a topical anaesthetic which takes the edge off. Once you are numb you wont feel anything sharp or painful and your clinician will make sure you are completely numb before your surgery.

What are dental implant treatment time scales?

From placement of the implant to the fit of the final crown can take as little as 8 weeks. This is all dependent on the patient and complexity of the treatment.
You will be given a timescale by your clinician at Hello Dental when starting the planning of your treatment.

Is there any follow up appointments? We advise you see a hygienist regularly at Hello Dental to ensure you are keeping the implant area clean and your oral hygiene is to a high standard. Your implant will be checked at every check-up appointment but once fitted with the crown you can use it
