Time for a faster option

A lot of our patients here at Hello Dental are interested in straightening their teeth and improving their smile, and are curious to know what their options are for braces in Colchester. While traditional metal braces can move teeth faster than in years past, it is still common for the average patient to wear traditional braces for up to two years. Likewise, many clear aligners are not necessarily faster. So, if you want to straighten your teeth quickly, the best solution for you could be to choose Fastbraces at Hello Dental.

Fastbraces are not simply ‘fast braces’. They are an innovative solution for straightening your teeth that uses cutting edge technology to move teeth into position quickly.

How do they work?

Brackets will be applied to each of your teeth and a wire threaded between them, just like with traditional braces in Colchester. The materials used, however, are different and can be clear or tooth-coloured to blend in seamlessly with your natural teeth.

When wearing traditional braces in Colchester, your teeth are moved in two stages and this is part of the delay in the overall treatment time. First, the actual crown of your tooth (what you can see) is moved into the correct or nearly correct position. Once there, the roots of your teeth are moved into position and held there. Unlike traditional braces, Fastbraces begin to move your roots into the right position from the very first appointment. This is an entirely different treatment approach that can be far more effective than traditional braces because it does not wait to address the entire issue, but instead, tackles everything from the beginning.

Also, instead of square brackets being applied to the teeth, triangular ones are used. This will allow your new Fastbraces faster movement. The wires threaded between the bracket are heat-activated, which will further speed up the process.

I have been going to hello dental for a few years now and I must say you get what you pay for, the service is exemplary and all the staff are so polite and friendly. I never really liked going to the dentist because of previous experiences but I trust them 100% and would highly recommend them. Also the clinic is so clean which is something I always look for! So if you are looking for a dentist this is definitely the place to go.

If you're looking for a kind, calm and supportive dentist Hello Dentist are brilliant.
